Returns & Exchanges
At CustomMacs.com we do not currently accept
returns once an order has shipped.
For items that
must be returned we charge a 25% restocking fee on
laptops and parts and a 40% restocking fee on
desktops & displays.
We may issue an exchange for
a defective product. We reserve the right to decide if
the product was defective or if the user may have
cause damage to the item. All of our items come with
a 3-day DOA exchange that covers any major defects
the system may have
, unless noted as sold as is.
DOA (Dead on Arrival) So it only covers units not
starting up. This does not cover issues with the
CD-rom drive, speakers, screen latch, or ports.
These computers have been tested for these
problems and have passed but this damage may
have occurred in shipping, which we cannot be
responsible for. If the user adds any software or
changes the hardware set up in any way, it will void
the policy. Buyer must pay shipping costs to return
the damaged product to us. Buyer must receive an
RMA number before they can send the item back to
us, and must write it on the box. Packages without
RMA numbers will be refused. All package returns
must be sent with a 2-3 day service and be insured
with tracking. With the package, you must send a
description of the problem, the purchase date, your
name and email we have on file, and the address it
was shipped too.
Remember we reserve the right
to deny any claims we feel were user caused
and you must have an RMA number before
sending the unit back to us. If you send back a
unit, that is not defective, you will need to pay
return shipping.
